The representative Shri Thanedar announced via a video according to which he introduced a resolution to remove Donald Trump which contains seven articles.

Thanedar said:

Donald Trump has already made real damage to our democracy, but defying a unanimous decision of the 9-0 Supreme Court which must be the final straw, it is time that we welcome Donald J. Trump. The court said that the Kilmar Garcia wrongly should be authorized to return and receive regular procedure.

Trump ignored it. He ignored the Constitution. He ignored the very checks and the very balances that keep our democracy intact. It is not an isolated incident. This is part of a dangerous and deliberate scheme. This is why today I presented a resolution to dismiss Donald J. Trump describing seven indictment articles. Article one. Obstruction of justice and abuse of the executive power of the refusal of the regular procedure for illegal deportations. Trump challenged judicial orders. Article two, removing the power of the handbag of the congress. Trump dismantled the agencies and frozen funds without the authorization of the congress. Article three. Abuse of commercial powers and international assault.

He imposed damaging rates and threatened the military invasions of our allies. Article four, violation of the rights of the first amendment. He retaliated against journalists, lawyers and criticism for exercising their right to freedom of expression. Article five, creation of an illegal office establishing the so-called Ministry of Government’s efficiency, Doge and giving Elon Musk’s unconstitutional power on our government and our personal data.

Article six, corruption and corruption. He rejected criminal affairs and requested payments. Foreign governments and legal regulations have grown up for personal and political gains. Article seven, Tyrannical Overreach. Finally, and above all, he tries to consolidate uncontrolled power and to erode the constitutional limits of the presidency in this country.

We have presidents, not kings. It is not only a fault, it is an impenetrable bad behavior. It is not leadership, it is tyranny. If we leave this, we say that the president is above the law, that the constitution of the United States is optional. I will not be silent and I call all my colleagues, democrats, republicans and independent to defend myself.

Enough it is enough. Donald J. Trump must be charged.

The question is: does this effort of indictment have a chance to go anywhere?
