The representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) (D-NY) was a frank critic of Trump’s immigration raids. The AOC advised immigrants of their rights in public and online appearances.

His membership of the law raised anger of the tsar from the border of Trump Tom Homan, who told Fox News That he went so far as to speak to the Doj of the investigation into the representative Ocasio-Cortez for having interfered with his raids.

Homan declared in response to the request of if AOC breaks the law:

I will leave this to the Doj. What I find disturbing is that any member of the congress wants to educate people to escape the police. You can claim that you educate these constitutional rights. Okay, you can keep this statement.

But what she actually does is to say that people do not open your door, do not hide in your house, do not talk to the ice. We are talking about people who are illegally in the country, have committed a crime, they are a threat of public security, they were found guilty of serious crimes and were sentenced by a federal judge.

So it’s like AOC and others. I don’t want ice to apply the laws they have promulgated. She is a member of the Congress, let’s apply the laws you have promulgated, this is what we are supposed to do. You can’t continue it, do you think others should? No, I think I asked Doj, where is this line of obstacle, interference?

Now, if someone is waiting for you, prevents you from stopping someone and puts your hands on them, it’s an obstacle. But what line tells people to hide mice, not to open the door? Where do you cross this line on obstacles? So I simply asked the Ministry of Justice, give us this line.

The representative Ocasio-Cortez tries to advise people with their rights. It is not contrary to the law to advise persons of their rights. Many of these ice raids are made without a mandate.

Being illegally in the country is a civilian, not a criminal offense.

AOC responded to Homan’s initial threat by making fun of him on X:

“Maybe she’s going to be in trouble now. Maybe he can learn to read. The Constitution would be a good starting point.”

The representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will not be prosecuted. She has not committed any crime.

Homan becomes desperate because his mass immigration raids have not been so massive, and there is growing public resistance to the expulsion of immigrants who are not criminals. Homan tries to intimidate AOC, but he barks the bad tree because representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has shown that she will not be intimidated.
