The Republicans of the moderate chamber say that leadership in the House and the Senate will vote against the version of the Senate of the Great Bill if the modifications of the Republicans of the Senate have made to Medicaid in the legislation.

Notus reported:
A group of 16 Republicans of the Chamber – led by the more moderate representative David Valadao – sent a letter to Thune and President Mike Johnson on Tuesday suggesting that they are ready to vote against the legislation that leaves the Senate if it includes a reduction in the taxi supplier.
…
The members of the Chamber also say they are concerned about “the precipitated implementation deadlines, the penalties for the expansion states, the modifications made to the requirements of community engagement for adults with dependent persons and the reduction of medication funds medicaid”.
…
“MEDICAID protection is essential to vulnerable voters that we have been elected to represent. Therefore, we cannot support a final bill that threatens access to coverage or compromises the stability of our hospitals and suppliers,” wrote members.
The list of representatives who signed this bill is read as who is Who of Endangered 2026 House Republicans, including Valadao, Rob Bresnahan, Young Kim, Mike Lawler, Juan Ciscomani, Chuck Edwards, Andrew Garbarino, Jen Kiggans, Jeff Van Drew, Dan Newhouse, Rob Wittman, Mariannette-Meek Jeff HURD.
The original bill of the Chamber adopted by a single vote, so if even some of these Republicans decide that they are not votes on the version of the Senate, this cycle of the bill would be dead.
The Senate should start again. The version of the Bill Chamber cannot adopt the Senate, which means that if the Senate adopts its own version, the two versions of the bill should go to the Conference and be negotiated in one bill.
All this could take months, which means that Trump will not sign legislation by July 4.
The great beautiful bill is in major problems. The Senate should vote on its version of the bill from Friday and continue during the weekend.
The prospects of the bill seem to be at best risky. Public events and accessories work. The Republicans of the House fear losing their jobs, and if the American people maintain the pressure, they could overcome the major bill.
