United Airlines has reached a provisional employment contract “at the head of the industry” for its 28,000 on -board agents, their union announced on Friday.
The agreement includes “40% of total economic improvements” during the first year and retroactive salary, a signature bonus and quality of life improvements, such as better planning and playing time, said the association of CWA on-board agents.
The union did not provide more details on the agreement.
The united on -board agents have not increased since 2020.
The members of the cabin crew voted last year to authorize the union to conclude if an agreement was not concluded. They also asked for federal mediation in negotiations.
American on -board officers have been pressure for salary increases for years after the pilots and other working groups have obtained new work transactions following the pandemic. United is the last of the main American carriers to conclude an agreement with its on -board agents.
The agreement must always face a vote by on -board agents, and the language of the contract will be finalized in the coming days, said United.
