Disney On Tuesday, price increases unveiled its streaming subscription packages from October 21.
The Disney + autonomous plan supported by advertising will see an increase of $ 2 to $ 11.99 per month, while the Plan without ADS Premium will amount from $ 3 to 18.99 per month or will obtain an annual increase from $ 30 to $ 189.99 per year.
The Disney + and Hulu set supported by advertising will increase from $ 2 a month, and the two packages with Disney +, Hulu and ESPN will see a monthly increase of $ 3. The plans with Disney +, Hulu and HBO Max will also increase by $ 3 per month.
NFL + plans will remain at the same price.
The company had previously referred to price increases when he calls the third quarter profits, adding that it expects a modest increase in Disney + subscribers to its fourth tax quarter. Disney increased prices for its packages in October 2024, most plans increasing from $ 1 to $ 2.
The price increases came while the entertainment company was faced with an in -depth examination for its management of “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, after the Disney ABC subsidiary produced the Air show last week on the controversial comments of the host on the alleged killer of the conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The company announced almost a week later that the show would return to air on Tuesday, after viewers and the end of the show criticized Disney for its actions.
In the meantime, some fans went to social networks to announce that they cancel their Disney + subscriptions in solidarity with Kimmel.
Disney did not immediately respond to a request for comments on price changes.
