Trump’s nightmare week gets worse as Democrats prepare impeachment plan from day one

Democrats are not united in impeaching Trump a third time. Many House Democrats say a third impeachment would be a waste of time that would not result in a conviction or removal from office. Above all, Trump showed he didn’t care about being impeached because there were no consequences.

The challenge Democrats face is that as Trump continues to decline, the 25th Amendment is not an option because Vice President Vance and the cabinet will not invoke it, so impeachment may be the only option left, if only to try to remove Donald Trump from office.

New Fox News poll found that 55% of Americans think Trump does not have the mental skills to serve as president. At the height of the media frenzy to oust Biden, the percentage of people who thought Biden lacked mental competence was 65%. The media is not talking about Trump’s lack of mental competence. So it’s surprising that a majority of the country has understood Trump’s decline.

There is a way for Democrats to expedite Trump’s impeachment and then get back to passing laws to reduce costs and inflation for the American people.

Let’s look at what some House Democrats want to do and see if it’s realistic.
