MVP NFL Josh Allen signs with a new balance

With the kind permission of New Balance

The NFL MVP Josh Allen left Nike To sign an approval agreement with New Balance.

Friday, the quarter of Buffalo Bills announced the news in a letter to his hometown of Firebaugh, California. The agreement is a major victory for New Balance, based in Massachusetts.

Allen has been a Nike athlete since he joined the League in 2018. The Swoosh has faced opposite winds in recent years when innovation slowed down and sales have decreased.

The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, but New Balance is committed to finance the sports program for young people in the Firebaugh community within the framework of the agreement.

“I am proud to share that I join the New Balance family, a brand which, like Firebaugh, is built on the family, the community and the authenticity,” said Allen in the letter.

Firebaugh is not only where Allen grew up, but also where he first trained and developed his passion for football, he said.

“Firebaugh did not have a quarter-back camps or private sneakers. We had a heart. We had a community. And I would not exchange this for nothing,” said Allen in the letter.

Allen is one of the biggest stars in the league and led Bills to the playoffs for six consecutive years. It was also presented in “Hard Knocks: Hbo training camp with the Buffalo Bills”, which broadcast its final on Tuesday.

New Balance, which quickly expanded its list of athletes, also represents other stars of big name, including tennis player, Coco Gauff, Shohei Ohtani from MLB and the WNBA Cameron Brink.

“While New Balance continues to develop her football family, we are honored to welcome Josh Allen in the field and in the community, helping to lead the next chapter,” the company said in a statement.

Earlier this week, Allen also announced that hers joined Therabody as the first performance advisor to the fitness brand.
