2025 SUV Jeep Cherokee

Stelllantis

DETROIT – Jeep revealed the first details and the image of its new SUV Cherkee on Thursday, which the company plans to help in the reversal of the brand when it arrives later this year.

THE Stelllantis Brand has said that the new intermediate size SUV will include a hybrid powertrain group, but refused to specify if it was a hybrid hybrid or traditional rechargeable electric vehicle (PHEV), which the company is currently offering several SUVs.

“The brand new Jeep Cherokee does not take into account our efforts to provide more products, innovation, choice and standard content to customers than ever,” said Jeep CEO, Bob Broderdorf, in a press release. “Jeep Cherokee will have competitive prices that strike at the heart of the largest vehicle segment and is perfectly between Jeep Compass and Jeep Grand Cherokee to strengthen our winning public program.”

Affairs has been a problem for jeep sales in the midst of price increases in recent years. An entry -level model of the Cherokee started around $ 30,000 for the 2022 model year, according to Cars.com. It's close to the current compass at around $ 27,000. The Grand Cherokee 2025 begins at around $ 36,500.

The company refused to publish other details of the vehicle, including its production location. Analysts and union officials said that the new SUV should be produced in a Mexico factory – a decision that had been made before President Donald Trump's election and automotive prices in 25% on vehicles imported in the United States

The latest generation of the Cherokee was produced in an Illinois factory, which was slowed down since the vehicles were interrupted at the beginning of 2023 in the midst of the efforts to reduce costs and production of production.

The cancellation of the Cherokee and a smaller SUV called The Renegade after the decrease in current sales for the brand contributed to the drop in current sales.

Jeep, a coveted brand of the automotive industry, reported six consecutive years of American annual sales decreases, with a decrease of 10% in the first quarter of this year.

The SUV brand should be a priority for the CEO entering Stellantis, Antonio Filosa, who led the reversal of Jeep before being promoted last year to direct the company of the company.
