Donald Trump considers himself a king and a great messenger, but in reality, the reverse has long been true. Trump is steam to be a president missed twice, because, more often than not, his messages tend to bring most Americans to the other side of his position.

The latest example of Trump’s ineffectiveness is a new survey on American support for Ukraine. Since Trump attacked Zelenskyy and has become the boy from Putin water, the number of Americans who have said that the United States has done enough to support Ukraine increased by 14 points.

According to Gallup:

Three years after the start of the Russian-Ukraine War, 46%of Americans think that the United States is not doing enough to help Ukraine in the conflict, marking an increase of 16 percentage points since December to a new summit in the trend that dates back to 2022. At the same time, the proportions thinking that the United States is doing too much (30%) or the right amount (23%) for Ukraine have decreased.

…

The latest poll also finds a five-point increase in the percentage of Americans who think that the United States should continue to support Ukraine by recovering its territory, even if it requires prolonged involvement (53%), rather than putting an end to the conflict as quickly as possible, even if it means giving up the territory to Russia (45%). This is a change compared to December, when 50% wanted a rapid end to war, the highest reading of the trend of this feeling and 48% of fiancé respect. Before that, majorities ranging from 55% to 66% favored by helping Ukraine to win back its territory.

The survey was taken after Trump’s White House meeting with Zelenskyy, there were therefore political consequences for the President of the United States to be a tyrant and acting like the Minister of Putin propaganda.

Instead of weakening America’s commitment to Ukraine, Trump strengthened it.

Putin thought that with Trump in the White House, he would have a gentle navigation towards victory in Ukraine, but the American people say no.

Trump lives in a universe different from the rest of the country, and the consequences of the presidency of Trump’s alternative reality will be harsh republicans in mid-term elections in 2026.
