Trump Hilariously Claims He Loves America Too Much to Go to His Son’s Wedding

Trump rejecting his son’s marriage, which bears his name, is so in tune with the times that it is almost a self-parody.

Donald Trump spent nearly a third of his presidency hitting the clubs and playing golf. Trump is barely at the White House three to four days a week. The current president is constantly absent from work, which makes his excuse for not being able to attend Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding even more absurd.

Trump posted on his social media platform:

Although I really wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump family, his future wife, Bettina, government circumstances and my love for the United States of America do not allow me to do so. I think it is important for me to remain in Washington, DC, at the White House during this important time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina! President DONALD J. TRUMP

It’s even better that Donald Trump signed his statement announcing he was annulling his son’s marriage with his full name. He doesn’t say he loves his son or introduce himself as dad.
