House Democrats send strong message to Kristi Noem

Aside from Attorney General Pam Bondi, whom Trump is considering replacing likely because she has failed to effectively imprison his political enemies with false accusations and prosecutions, no member of the Trump administration is more at risk of losing their job than DHS Secretary Kristi Noem.

Noem has no experience in homeland security and was never qualified to be DHS secretary. Noem was nominated for this position by Trump because she is a total Trump loyalist. She can be counted on to do whatever Trump wants, and that’s the most important qualification for any job.

The killing of Renee Good by an ICE agent in Minnesota, who the administration now says suffered internal torso injuries, has sparked a desire for Sec. Noem is coming out of DHS to a new level.

Democrats can’t impeach Noem on their own because they don’t have a majority, but they’re using tools like articles of impeachment to let Kristi Noem know that her days are likely numbered if they take back the House majority in November.

One of the main ways House Democrats can make their case to any Trump administration official is by introducing articles of impeachment.

Rep. Robin Kelly (D-IL), who introduced three articles of impeachment against Noem, said at a press conference:

Secretary Noem has imposed her reign of terror on Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, and communities from north to south, east to west. She must be charged for her actions.

Secretary Noem called my impeachment efforts “stupid.” I want to tell him right now: you have violated your oath of office and there will be consequences. I’m looking at you.
