President Mike Johnson (R-La) is very angry with Governor Gavin Newsom. The governor of California called Johnson since the filming of the school in Minnesota for having only offered prayers and refused to take measures against armed violence.
During an event where the House Republicans were trying to whiten Epstein’s files for Trump, Johnson took the time to criticize Newsom with a multitude of false and inaccurate statements.
Video:
Johnson said:
Governor Newsom called me personally several times and he shamelessly made fun of the victims of the Catholic School of the Annunciation. To pray after the shooter was released online and did it in writing.
I just found him reprehensible. It’s really sad. In response to a video by Caroline Levitt discussing the power of prayer, in the midst of a large tragedy, the governor published a quote, these children literally prayed while they fell. Why, like, why would he do that? Why would you do this, except that you are hungry for attention?
He is detestable. Two children were murdered. More than a dozen have been hospitalized, and Gavin Newsom’s response was to sneer and condemn those who seek our creator in our darkest moments. I thought it was, I just thought it was bad. In fact, it is revealing of a moral decadence as deep as it only expects for God, it is prayer, ironically.
And we are told in writing to do it as people of faith. We believe in the force of prayer and intercession. It is fundamental for whom we are as believers and, by the way, who we are as a American. It is woven in the fabric of our country, our deep Judeo-Christian heritage, and that is something that we represent.
And as head of state with the largest Christian population in America. I will keep Governor Newsom and also the people of California in my prayers. And I think you have to be called and anyone who does should be called for this.
How allegedly did the new anti-Christian people respond?
Newsom responded by quoting the entries to Johnson on X:
Matthieu 6: 5 – “And when you pray, don’t be like hypocrites, because they like to pray up in the synagogues and in the corners of the street to be seen by others. Really I tell you, they have their full reward. ”
Newsom relentlessly called Johnson a hypocrite for not having practiced what he preaches, so Johnson responded to this criticism by becoming even more arrogant, sufficient and high with his own supply of self-justice.
Mike Johnson seems incredibly to thin skin and unable to manage criticism, in particular criticism that underlines how he does not work on speech.
Gavin Newsom is not anti-Christian or disrespectful to school victims. Newsom gets up and demands leaders like Mike Johnson, who only offer thoughts and prayers while children are shot and die.
