Mexican grill chipotle hopes that the love of Americans for Ranch will increase its sales.
On June 17, the Burrito chain Lance Adobo Ranch, a more spicy vision of the emblematic condiment that transcended salads to decorate pizzas, chicken wings and fries. The menu item is the first new drop in chipotle from Queso Blanco, which was launched in 2020.
The beginnings come as Chipotle tries to recover from a difficult start to the year. In the first quarter, the company reported its first drop in sales at comparable stores since 2020. Managers have cited consumers who had become more concerned about the economy.
The company has also lowered the upper end of its prospects for sales growth at annual comparable stores and said traffic would not develop before the second half.
Chipotle shares fell 12% this year, leading to market capitalization to $ 71 billion.
But Adobo Ranch could help stimulate business sales if it recalls the prudent guests in channel restaurants.
The dipped sauce is made with adobo peppers, sure cream and herbs and spices, depending on the company. Adding Adobo Ranch to an order will cost an additional 75 cents.
Ranch Outsells Ketchup, although NIQ retail data show that Mayo still holds first place as a favorite condiment for American consumers.
