Since Trump’s trade war has shaken the American economy and is extremely unpopular to the American people, the administration needed a pretext for their prices. On Sunday, they announced that the trade war had become a drug war.

According to Trump’s National Director of the Economic Council, Kevin Hassett, Canada is a major fentanyl shipping source in the United States.
Transcription via ABC this week:
Karl: But let me ask – I am – I am now confused on what you say about the drug war and not a trade war. So – So let’s just take Canada.
Hassett: UH-HUH.
Karl: I mean, you said that fentanyl expedition Canada in the United States. I mean, I don’t think it happens.
I mean, 1% of fentanyl is smuggled through the border, 1%. I mean, Canada is not a major source of fentanyl in the United States, right?
Hassett: Well, there – well, yes, they are a major source. And I can tell you that in the situation room, I saw photographs of fentanyl laboratories in Canada that the people of the application of the laws left alone. Canada has a big drug problem, even in their own cities.
Karl: OK.
Hassett: Go ahead, you know, Toronto and – and see what it looks like and – and you will see that it is a big problem.
Video:
Hassett had no evidence of this concealment in which he accused Canada of engaging. The number of fentanyl seized on the American border / Canada was 43 pounds, which means that fentanyl from Canada is not the problem that Trump administration claims to be.
The Trump administration has moved the course and now massages Canada with allegations of false drugs.
Fantanyl’s false complaints are really aiming to sell the prices and the economic pain they are causing to the American people.
Trump’s trade war was a flop, he will rather try a drug war.
