Trump’s Iran ceasefire collapses

The ceasefire deal, supposed to bring a two-week pause in the US war against Iran, appears on the verge of collapse.

Israel bombs Lebanon, which was included in the ceasefire. The Trump administration claims that Lebanon was not included in the ceasefire, despite written evidence showing that Lebanon is supposed to be included in the ceasefire.

Iran also accuses the United States of violating the ceasefire.

The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, published on X:

The deep historical distrust we have in the United States stems from its repeated violations of all forms of commitments – a pattern that, unfortunately, has repeated itself once again.

….

In such a situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations are unreasonable.THE.

Iran says Israeli attacks on Lebanon are a violation of the deal. A drone was sent into Iranian airspace, and Iran says uranium is not covered by the deal.

The agreement is on the brink of collapse and negotiations may have to take place simply to salvage the ceasefire before further negotiations can take place.

The whole situation is turning into a joke.

Trump is trying to flee a war he started, but it appears Israel is trying to keep him in the war by violating the ceasefire agreement.

The Trump administration has been frantically trying to sell their cave on the war as a victorybut the administration is trying to change the terms of control of the Strait of Hormuz and determine who will collect the toll on ships passing through it.

Ceasefires are always tricky, but there is a strong case for no ceasefire in Iran, as the deal began to unravel soon after it was announced.

Trump’s ceasefire in Iran could go down in history as a ceasefire that never existed.
