It is clear that Donald Trump plans a kind of action in the city of Chicago. Governor JB Pritzker clearly indicated that he did not want to, and he will not invite the troops of the National Guard in his state, but that did not prevent Trump from steaming with his plan to send troops to Chicago when there is no crisis or emergency.

Governor Pritzker said during an event speaking of the National Guard and Chicago:
I respect them a lot. Most of them, almost all, are not trained in the police. This is not what they do. But respect the fact that if they are called or any national guard, come here, if they are called. I know the members of the National Guard. They don’t want to do the police in the streets.
This is not the work for which they registered when they entered the National Guard. So if they happen to meet here, we should respect them all. They follow orders. This is what they are supposed to do. They can be in court martial if they do not follow orders. And so I think they don’t want to be here.
We must respect that they have a job. They are asked to do. But to be honest with you, I think the same percentage, around 80, 85% of national guards can be more like the inhabitants of Chicago do not want troops in the streets of Chicago. It is therefore not American if you ask me. Invasive a city with troops, an American president invading an American city.
