Actions of Cracker Barrel Old Country Store On Wednesday, increased by more than 8% after the restaurant chain said that it would remove its new logo and return to the original, in the midst of growing social media users and even President Donald Trump.

The moves of the action Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning brought the actions of Cracker Barrel near to restore their initial losses as the new logo was announced last week.

“We thank our guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel. We said we will listen, and we did it. Our new logo disappears and our” old timer “will remain,” the company said on Tuesday.

The change occurred only a few hours after Trump weighed on the brand change, writing on social networks “Cracker Barrel should go back to the old logo, admit an error based on the customer’s response (the ultimate survey) and manage the business better than ever.”

After Trump’s message, Cracker Barrel’s shares increased by more than 6% on Tuesday’s fence.

Trump congratulated the company in an article on social networks later Tuesday evening after the announcement that the original logo would remain.

“Congratulations” Cracker Barrel “for bringing your logo back to what it was. All your fans appreciate it a lot. Good luck in the future. Earn a lot of money and, above all, make your customers happy again! The message read.

Taylor Budowich, deputy chief of staff of the White House, also said in an article on X that he had spoken with the company earlier in the evening and Cracker Barrel had thanked the president for having weighed on the issue.

The redesign of the proposed logo, which the company announced last week, deleted the image of the character “Uncle Herschel” from the restaurant supported against a barrel which was in good place in the original, just leaving the words “Cracker Barrel” against the outline of a yellow barrel. The expression “Old Country Store” has also been deleted.

The colors, which, according to the company, were inspired by the eggs and cookies of the restaurant, remained close to the original.

Social media users quickly exploded the new logo, the caller “generic” “” soulless “and” bland “. The preservatives in particular accused the restaurant chain of going” WOKE “, by removing the classic American brand.

A Yougov survey of 1,000 adults over the weekend revealed that 65% of Americans were aware of the new logo and 76% preferred the old.

The company discussed the backlash in a statement on Monday, saying that it “showed us that we could have done a better job of sharing who we are and who will always be”.

Cracker Barrel has repeatedly said that the new brand would not change the fundamental values of the company.

“At Cracker Barrel, it has always been – and will always be – to serve delicious dishes, warm welcome and the type of campaign hospitality that looks like a family,” read Tuesday evening. “As a proud American institution, our 70,000 workers are looking forward to welcoming you to our table soon.”
