Jeff Bezos takes up the Washington Post opinion page and seems to turn Maga

The drop in the Washington Post was launched in Overdrive while the billionaire owner and Trump donor, Jeff Bezos, announced that he had taken over the opinion of the opinion page and dismissed the editor of the chief of the ‘opinion.

Bezos posted on X:

I shared this note with the Washington Post team this morning: I am writing to inform you of a change on our opinion pages. We will write every day to support and defend two pillars: personal freedoms and free markets. We will also cover other subjects, but points of view opposed to these pillars will be left to be published by others.

There was a time when a newspaper, in particular the one which was a local monopoly, could have considered it as a service to be provided to the door of the reader each morning a large -based opinion section which sought to cover all views. Today, the Internet does this job. I am from America and for America, and proud to be. Our country has not arrived here by being typical. And a large part of the success of America was freedom in the economic field and everywhere else.

Freedom is ethical – it minimizes coercion – and practice – it stimulates creativity, invention and prosperity. I offered David Shipley, whom I greatly admire, the opportunity to direct this new chapter. I suggested to him that if the answer was not “hell yes”, then it should be “no”. After a careful examination, David decided to move away.

This is an important change, it will not be easy, and this will require 100% commitment – I respect its decision. We will seek a new opinion editor to have this new direction. I am convinced that free markets and personal freedoms are suitable for America. I also believe that these points of view are poorly served on the current market of ideas and the opinion of the news. I am excited to fill this vacuum together.

The free market, in the Speak Billionaire, opposes the regulations and the rights of workers. Personal freedoms in the same billionaire speak that billionaires should have the freedom to do what they want.

The Washington Post opinion page is about to become very pro-millionaire because that’s what Maga has become. Even some of the Maga Ogs who thought they were part of a conservative populist movement realize that Maga is now to serve billionaires.

Jeff Bezos will ensure that the Washington Post will now write in the service of the billionaire agenda.

The Washington Post, formerly one of the most prestigious newspapers in the world, is now a platform for billionaire propaganda.
