Trump flatly threatens Disney in his efforts for 86 Jimmy Kimmel

As if the FCC conducting an early review of the licenses of eight Disney-owned stations wasn’t enough, and the First Lady demanding his ouster, Donald Trump stepped in and directly threatened Disney, and it’s clear what he wants.

Trump wants ABC to fire late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.

On Thursday morning, Trump posted: “When will ABC Fake News Network fire the very unfunny Jimmy Kimmel, who incompetently presides over one of the lowest rated shows on television? People are angry. It better be soon!!!”

Since the shootings have still not taken place, Trump is increasing his threats.

Greta Van Susteren asked the president on Newsmax: “Jimmy Kimmel has apologized. Is that a good apology? Do you accept the apology?”

Before we get into Trump’s response, let’s fact-check the question.

Kimmel did not apologize for his joke.

This is what the ABC late night host said: “I’m sorry that you, the president and everyone in this room on Saturday experienced this. I really am. Just because no one was killed doesn’t mean it wasn’t traumatic and scary.”

Kimmel didn’t apologize for his joke, so the premise of the question was wrong, but Trump made it clear that no apology would be enough.
