The second Trump administration prepared from the start for many potential scandals. The administration is full of people who have connections to foreign powers, conflicts of interest, and who only hold office because they are loyal to the president.
What’s brewing, according to a Wall Street Journal article, is not the corruption expected from Trump’s self-enrichment presidency. The type of corruption that Trump appears to be engaged in was internalized and embraced when he was elected back to the White House.
