Democrats have won every statewide election in Virginia. Democrats won elections for governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general. As of this article’s publication, Democrats have flipped 7 seats in the House of Delegates and have not seen any incumbent Democratic president lose their seat.
Donald Trump tried to interfere in New Jersey’s gubernatorial election by illegally leaking Mikie Sherrill’s military records, but instead of helping Trump-backed Republican Jack Ciattarelli, it led to Ciattarelli performing worse than Trump in the state in 2024, and Sherrill looks like he’s on track for a double-digit victory.
