Tom Brady concluded a partnership with the manufacturer of AESCAPE robotic massage devices to provide the company exclusive rights to its recovery and longevity protocols, AESCAPE announced on Tuesday.
As part of the agreement, Brady received the title of chief of innovation for the company. The terms of the agreement have not been disclosed.
Brady’s trading partner, Alex Spiro, will also join Aescape, as a strategic advisor. They will support both the development of products and the growth of AESCAPE on the capital markets, said the company.
Brady, a Super Bowl champion at 7 times, played in the NFL until the age of 45 and is undoubtedly one of the best quarters to play in the league. It attributes a large part of its success and longevity to its training and recovery efforts. AESCAPE will work with the MVP to integrate its daily routines into its personalized robotic platform.
“After 23 years, playing professionally, there is no way that I could have accomplished what I did professionally without all the massage and recovery work protocols,” Brady told CNBC. “The reason why I am always able to do what I like to do is because of the body, the care that I received daily and weekly, and I want to try to make this available for everyone.”
AESCAPE is a New York -based robotics company with more than 100 locations in North America.

AESCAPE was founded in 2017 by entrepreneur Eric Litman. The company based in New York uses AI technology to provide a fully automated and customizable massage. It has more than 100 locations and has delivered more than 25,000 massages using its automated robots.
AESCAPE partners include the high-end fitness company Equinox and Select Four Seasons, Marriott and Ritz-Carlton Hotel Properties across North America. The company is supported by $ 130 million in investor funding who includes Valor Siren Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Broadlight Capital, Crosslink Capital and AlleyCorp.
“Our bodies are these machines that require significant continuous maintenance, and with better maintenance and better care, they can last much longer,” said Litman, CEO of Aescape.
Litman said he had seen the growth of massages in consumers’ habits. He said that Ascape is an attractive option for many customers because it is lower (from $ 30 per service), you don’t have to shower before or after a session, and treatments can be shorter than a traditional massage.
For Spiro, an investor and a lawyer, the emphasis is put on the scale and the growth plan of Aescape – whether in the football training room, abroad or one day to obtain massage robots in people’s houses.
“As the price of the machine drops and this company becomes better known, it will democratize access so that everyday people can use it, improve their backs, go back to work and allow us to do something really good for society,” he said.
