YouTube The NFL Week One game will be broadcast free of charge on September 5 – the first time that the dominant streaming platform has released a full game from the entire NFL.
The game, which sports on the front, have reported for the first time between the Chiefs of Kansas City and the Los Angeles loaders, will take place in São Paulo, Brazil.
“Last year, people spent more than 350 million hours looking at the official NFL content on Youtube, so it is both appropriate and exciting to continue to establish our relations with our partners at the NFL,” said the director of chief business of Youtube, Mary Ellen Coe, in a press release. “Streaming Friday evening game at fans for free worldwide will mark the first time of YouTube as a live broadcaster of the NFL – and we will do it in a way that only YouTube can, with an interactive visualization experience and creators just at the center of the experience.”
The game will be available for all users of YouTube and YouTube television worldwide, except in Canada and in some other countries, and locally on television on the media markets of the participating teams, said YouTube in a press release.
YouTube is the most watched streaming platform in the United States, made up of 12% of all viewers for Mars, according to Nielsen.
The NFL has an existing agreement with YouTube TV for the Sunday ticket, the package of market matches in the League. These games require a subscription – or $ 480 per year without YouTube TV, or $ 378 per year for YouTube TV subscribers. YouTube TV is a collection of linear television networks that approaches a standard cable pack.
