The democratic chief of the Chamber, representative Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), held a press conference on Monday, and he had several interesting comments when asked for the next special elections for the seats of the American room which are open in Florida.

Jeffries said:
I personally contributed to the two candidates in Florida and I encouraged others to do so. These are races that should not, in ordinary circumstances, be on the political radar of anyone.
These are safe and republican republican seats that Donald Trump has won by more than 30 points in both cases, especially in Florida Six. The American people do not buy what the Republicans sell. This is why they are on the run. Everything we hear, including earlier in the day, was the idea that the Republicans have a massive mandate.
There is no mandate to adopt the largest Medicaid cup in American history. There is no mandate to try to explode public schools in America. There is no mandate to dismiss thousands of veterans who serve this country with great heroism, and now they have been thrown out and thrown away. And so the chickens are starting to go home to perch.
You have seen it in a variety of different special elections in terms of state and local in recent months, and it will be interesting to see what is happening in Florida. These districts are so republican. There would be normally no reason to believe that the races will be close, but what I can say almost is that the Democratic candidate of these two special elections of Florida will outperform considerably, which will represent another sign that the Republicans are on the run and that the Democrats will regain control of the House of Representatives next year.
Jeffries was correct on all points. There is no way anyone who talks about these special elections. They should be conclusions because these Florida districts are not only republicans. Each district is strongly republican. The reason for which Trump chose the Republicans holding these seats at home for his administration is that these seats were considered beyond the security taking for the GOP.
The idea that Democrats speak of being competitive in one or the other is in itself incredible.
If Jeffries is right and the Democrats outperform in Florida, it will change the story of a Trump / Gop mandate to a Blue Wave and Trump building being a lame duck.
Winning would be breathtaking for the Democrats, but running near these dark red districts will be enough to terrify the Republicans.
