Rep. Al Green (D-TX) has written new dismissal articles against Donald Trump and there seems to be considerable public support for his efforts.

Freedom of expression for people announced:

Impeacher Trump againA non -partisan campaign led by freedom of expression for People, announced today that they had collected more than 250,000 petition signatures in support of an indictment in charge of President Donald Trump. The announcement comes in the heels of the recent speech of the house of the representative of Al Green according to which he would bring articles of dismissal against the president.

…

Launched on the day of the inauguration, the campaign has documented multiple abuses of the President of the Power that Trump has already committed, in particular: planning for the forced abolition of Gaza Palestinians; abuse his power to request compensation against the adversaries perceived; Coopter and dismantle independent surveillance of the government; unconstitutionally the powers of the congress; receive foreign and national emoluments; deprive citizens of their citizenship of the right of birth; reject corrupt criminal charges against Eric Adams; abuse sorry power; abuse emergency power; block efforts to ensure the American elections; unconstitutionally the local and state authority; And engage in illegal and corrupt practices during the 2024 presidential election campaign.

Even if the accusation effort has no realistic chance to occur while the Republicans control the House of Representatives, there is a growing call for something to be done.

The Green representative launched his efforts to dismiss Trump last month, And he obtained the support of an independent movement to welcome Trump again.

“We applaud the member of the Al Green Congress for demanding that the American Congress will hold Donald Trump responsible through the accusation process for his dangerous abuse of power,” explains Courtney Hostetler, freedom of expression for the legal director of people. “While Trump repeatedly undermines our democracy and ignores the Constitution, we will continue to invoke the Congress to fulfill his duty by investigating and, if necessary, by eliminating this corrupt framework from his functions.”

Even if Trump was dismissed in the House in one way or another, there is no chance that he will be sentenced to the Senate.

However, any movement that draws attention to Trump’s activities and corruption is good, and if the Democrats take up the Chamber, the dismissal should be on the table.
