Trump’s repression against freedom of expression and the criticism of him took a major blow on Tuesday when AUB announced that the animator “indefinitely suspended” Jimmy Kimmel would be back on the network on Tuesday evening.

Disney said in a press release:
Last Wednesday, we made the decision to suspend production in the show in order to avoid igniting a tense situation at an emotional moment for our country.
This is a decision that we made because we estimated that some of the comments were poorly informed and therefore insensitive. We spent the last days to have thoughtful conversations with Jimmy, and after these conversations, we made the decision to return the show on Tuesday.
It is a great attempted Disney rotation, but the truth is that they pulled Kimmel under pressure from Trump’s FCC chair, Brendan Carr, who celebrated after the network, withdrew Kimmel. President Trump celebrated when Jimmy Kimmel Live was removed from the air.
What Disney has done was the Trump administration cave and the pressure exerted by the affiliation owners of the Nexstar network and Sinclair Broadcasting.
