The Illinois is preparing for Donald Trump to invade the city of Chicago in a few days. Heads of state clearly indicated that they did not need or wish no federal intervention to “fight crime” in the city and the state.

Saturday morning, Lieutenant-Governor Juliana Stratton said on MSNBC:
We will not move away. We will do everything we can to protect the inhabitants of Illinois and defend our neighbors.
I mean, look, it is a manufactured chaos that the Trump administration tries to bring to the city of Chicago and a state like Illinois, they do not like the fact that we do not bow. And as I said over and over again, we are not going to deploy the red carpet for a budding dictator.
You know, Holman talks about help. It doesn’t help anything. We didn’t ask them to come. They did not coordinate with us. They did not contact us for any official capacity to give us details on all levels. Chicago, Illinois. We got up together. We spoke in a loud voice.
We don’t want them here. We don’t need it here. There is no emergency. And so I don’t know what kind of help he is talking about, but we will do our best to follow the law and protect our people.
