RFK Jr. to eliminate the Mercury Conservative Thimérosal from flu

The American Secretary of Health and Social Services (HHS), Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is expressed with agriculture secretary Brooke Rollins and Senator Roger Marshall (R-KK) before a round table as part of the agenda “Make America in good” (Maha), on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC, US, US,

On Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Social Services said that it officially removes the Mercury -based conservative Thimérosal from all the flu distributed in the United States – even if there is no evidence of damage to the ingredient.

While few strokes still contain Thimérosal, the movement eliminates a vaccination option for the Americans and is a victory for the anti-vaccine movement, which has long targeted the ingredient.

HHS secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., officially adopted a June recommendation from a key panel of the government vaccine, called the advisory committee on vaccination practices, or ACIP, against influenza plans containing Thimérosal. Earlier this month, Kennedy emptied this panel and presented it with new members, including largely known anti-vaccine activists.

The decision affects approximately 4% to 5% of the US supply of flu vaccines. Which includes certain multi-dose forms of SanofiFluzone and two shots from the Biotechnology Society CSL Seqirus. The rest of the country’s flu vaccines were without Thimérosal during the last season of the virus, according to CDC data.

Vaccine manufacturers have confirmed that they had the capacity to replace multi-doses bottles containing mercury, said HHS. This will ensure that the influenza vaccine for adults and a government program that provides photos to unmarked and under-assured children will not be interrupted, added the agency.

However, health experts said that eliminating the fluid vaccines containing the optional Thimérosal for Americans could lead to fewer people receiving strokes.

This decision also strengthens long -standing and unfounded fears that the substance can cause developmental disorders, such as autism. The skepticism of the Kennedy vaccine is looped with the vote of the AICI: a decade before entering its current role, it published a book which called for the suppression of the Thimérosal of the fire and linked it to the development disorders.

“After more than two decades late, this action has long been expected to protect our most vulnerable populations against unnecessary exposure to Mercury,” Kennedy said in a statement, urging world health authorities to follow up on.

More than 40 studies over several decades have found no link between delays in Thimérosal and Development. Thimérosal has been widely used for decades as a preservative to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in several drugs and vaccines in multiple doses.

HHS said other recommendations from the Panel meeting in June were still being revised.
