The Wall Street Journal demonstrated how to react to a trial of Trump which is intended to intimidate the press.
Instead of retreating and concluding settlement negotiations, the Wall Street Journal responded to the Trump trial by publishing a devastating story that the president has known that he has been in Epstein files since May.
The Wall Street Journal reported:
When officials of the Ministry of Justice examined what the Attorney General Pam Bondi called a “truck” of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein earlier this year, they discovered that the name of Donald Trump had appeared several times, according to senior administration.
In May, Bondi and his assistant informed the president at a meeting at the White House that his name was in Epstein files, the officials said. Many other high -level figures have also been appointed, Trump said. Being mentioned in the files is not a sign of reprehensible acts.
…
They told the president at the meeting that the files contained what civil servants thought that the hearsay not verified on many people, including Trump, had socialized with Epstein in the past, some officials said. One of the officials familiar with documents said they contain hundreds of other names.
As the newspaper pointed out, being mentioned in the files is not the same as committing a crime.
However, this is certainly not a good thing that Trump was mentioned several times in Epstein files, and with this report, we now have our answer on the reasons why Trump tries to bury the publication of more information.
