Reddit The co-founder Alexis Ohanian bought a minority participation in Chelsea FC Women, giving him a property participation in two of the most realistic teams of female sports.
The founder of the venture capital company Seven Seven Six and her husband of the tennis legend Serena Williams paid 20 million pounds for a 10% participation in the English football team, according to a person familiar with the agreement. Ohanian is also the owner of the National Women's Women's Soccer League Angel City FC next to Disney CEO Bob Iger and his wife, Willow Bay.
Ohanian's Chelsea's offer values the female club at 200 million pounds, according to the familiar person, making it the most precious women's team in the world depending on the current exchange rates. As part of the agreement, Ohanian will receive a headquarters on the team's board of directors.
