The final vote of the Chamber's Road and Meaning Committee was 26-19 years to advance Trump tax reductions for the wealthy, but according to representative John Larson (D-CT), the Democrats spent hours trying to obtain tax reductions for rich people.

Representative John Larson (D-CT) said:
For hours, my democratic colleagues and I have offered amendments to solve the real problems facing families and the elderly – from social security to health care premiums and the collection rates of President Trump. The Republicans have shot each of them, remaining laser focused by reducing taxes for billionaires by reducing programs like Medicaid and Snap.
They voted in Lockstep to block my amendment which would improve Social Security for the first time in more than 50 years and finish taxation on social security benefits, putting the promise of President Trump to the American people. Americans must continue to speak and make their voices heard. It will only take a handful of Republicans in the Chamber who join the Democrats to defeat this devastating bill regarding the soil for a vote.
Here is a list of some of the democratic amendments that the Republicans have rejected:
What the Democrats have done during the increase audience is to take their book of political flesh. If the Republicans of the Chamber focus on reducing programs for everyone and giving money to the richest people in the country, the Democrats on the Trade and Meaning Committee wanted to ensure that the Republicans were forced to vote against the interests of the majority of their voters to get there.
The Chamber is the rule of direct majority, so unless the Republicans vote against their own legislation, this was going to pass. Democrats could not stop it, but they made things difficult and painful for the majority.
This legislation is still in the early stages of the process.
Even if the Republicans of the Chamber adopt their version of the bill in two weeks, the Senate Republicans will bring substantial changes which will force the Chamber to vote on the version of the Senate. Then, negotiations will probably have to perform to merge the two bills in a final bill, and the final legislation should also be elected to the Chamber and the Senate.
There are still many ways that this legislation can collapse, but the Republicans have advanced their program to worry only of the rich, and the Democrats have enough equipment that could cost them the majority of the room next year.
