There are two points regarding the allegations against Rep. Eric Swalwell. The allegations are wide-ranging. They cover several women over several years. All allegations are not anonymous and have been verified by the media.

CNN reported:

A former staffer for Rep. Eric Swalwell, a leading Democratic candidate for governor of California, said the congressman raped her while she was heavily intoxicated and left her bruised and bleeding, an allegation Swalwell strongly denies.

…

She said it was the second time Swalwell had non-consensual sexual contact with her while she was drunk. In 2019, while she was still working for him, she said she woke up naked with him in a hotel room after a night of heavy drinking. She said she had no memory of what happened, but could physically feel that they had sexual contact.

Three other women who spoke with CNN also alleged various types of sexual misconduct by the Democratic congressman — including Swalwell sending them unsolicited explicit messages or nude photos.

Rep. Swalwell released a video Friday evening denying all allegations, but he made general references to not being perfect and making mistakes.

MS NOW independently confirmed some of the allegations and reported it on Saturday morning. One of the women who made these allegations explained why she has come forward now: “One more thing I want to read, what the woman told me last night, I really felt responsible to protect the younger staff members because no one was protecting me and I really didn’t want to continue to know this information, wondering if another person could be hurt by him.

Video:

Eric Swalwell only thinks about himself and his campaign, but this is about women, abuse of power and what Democrats and the country want to be.
