America has had its share of bad wartime presidents. For every FDR in World War II, there was an LBJ in Vietnam or a George W. Bush in Iraq. One need only look back at the television era to see that bad war presidents outnumber good ones.
However, never in American history has a president started a war and been so incompetent that he he has given billions of dollars to the country he is currently at war with.

This is what Donald Trump is preparing to do for the Iranian regime.
Senator Chris Murphy spoke about the rudderless madness of the Iran war on NBC’s Meet The Press:
But the administration has already said its goal is not regime change. They are perfectly content to leave a regime at the helm of Iran that will be worse for American interests than the previous regime. What we do know is that as soon as we stop the bombing, this new regime will begin to rebuild its missile and drone capacity. It is estimated that it will only take a few months for them to reconstitute this threat.
So what did we get at the end of this war?
We are going to waste billions of dollars. We will kill dozens, if not hundreds, of Americans. We will trigger new conflicts in the region. And ultimately, will a more provocative regime be in charge with the same military capabilities? It’s absurd. This is what happens when you put real estate developers and talk show hosts in charge of America’s national security.
This is absurd and incredibly inept, as Murphy later pointed out.
