The day after federal law enforcement from the Department of Homeland Security killed an unarmed U.S. citizen, The President of the United States was outraged.
A murder of this type would be one murder too many for any previous president, whether Democrat or Republican, so perhaps Trump finally reached his limits and went after the murder of an American who was filming an immigration agent in Minneapolis?
No, Trump was worried about that. In fact, he defamed the most recent victim of his administration’s lawlessness.
What makes Trump furious and melting is that he is being sued for destroying the White House to build a ballroom.
Trump posted on his social network:
I am building, in addition to everything I do, one of the largest and most beautiful ballrooms in the world, with over $300 million of America’s great patriot money, and working closely with, from the beginning, the United States Army and Secret Service. This is a GIFT (ZERO taxpayer funding!) to the United States of America, of $300-400 million (depending on the scale and quality of interior finishes!), for desperately needed space, sought for over 150 years by previous presidents and administrations, so that the White House would no longer be forced to use a cheap and dangerous “tent” for large and important STATE EVENTS, dinners, meetings, conferences and future ones already scheduled. INAUGURATIONS (for safety, security and capacity reasons!), on a very humid and weather-affected White House lawn.
Before we continue, no one asked for a ballroom in the White House. The White House was already cramped for space and badly needed new offices. Instead, Trump demolished half of the White House to build a ballroom, whose demolition and other non-construction costs taxpayers are paying for.
Trump’s ballroom is also under investigation as a potential political bribery operation.
It gets even worse below, as Trump whines about the trial.
