Trump shows signs of full-blown mental breakdown during White House event

Gov. JB Pritzker recently urged Donald Trump’s family to step in and get him the mental health treatment he needs for what Pritzker believes is dementia.

Trump hosted a White House event Friday afternoon, supposedly about drug prices, that, if covered by objective media complicit and collaborating with the current administration, would raise alarms about whether a Democratic president has ever seemed as incoherent as Donald Trump.

The video can easily be glossed over, especially when someone has told as many lies and spun as many words as Donald Trump has over the past decade, but the transcriptions of the words the man actually collected are more revealing.

Here is Donald Trump talking about the price of prescription drugs:

And we actually did it, and I was so proud of myself. We called the press conference. I announced it. It was an eighth of 1%, an eighth of 1%. Now drug prices are going to go down a hundred percent, 400%, 600%, a thousand percent in some cases, but an eighth of a cent. Uh, Bobby, think about that. I was so proud because for 28 years, no one had done it.

And, uh, now it’s, uh, I look back on it, I said I shouldn’t have had this press conference, but it’s true. I was the only one who did it, but it wasn’t much. And now we’re going to get, in some cases, a thousand percent reduction. This is going to have a huge impact on everything from Social Security to Medicare to Medicaid, everywhere they buy prescription drugs, it’s going to have an incredible impact.

This will drop considerably.

Video:

It is impossible to lower the price of a good by more than 100%. This is basic math. Trump’s claim to cut prices by 1,000% means that Americans will be paid by drug companies ten times the value of the drug to take the drug.

In these terms, the madness is obvious, but things were only beginning to go off the rails.
