The Catholic School of Minneapolis Catholic Schoolist shooting was a horrible and premeditated crime against children. This is the kind of crime to whom an alleged crime fighter like Donald Trump should lead the nation, but that is not what is happening.

NBC News Report on a story told by senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) which details the horror that took place:
The senator described the call with the mother as “one of the most overwhelming things I have ever heard”. The woman’s daughter, who is in seventh year, saw her friends being shot.
“These children make a completely school mass and had to look at several of his friends being shot – one back, one in the neck,” said Klobuchar. “And they all went down under the benches and her – her daughter, of course, was not shot – but her daughter ended up being her head.
Donald Trump claims to be difficult for crime, but when a real crime occurs, when children are shot, where is Donald Trump? Where is it? In times like these, when a nation cries, when the communities are broken, when lives are broken, when children lose everything. Their innocence. A president should lead.
Donald Trump is not there. Donald Trump has a story of not wanting to deal with difficult problems. Donald Trump hides difficult problems. Donald Trump speaks a big match. He will even send troops from the National Guard to collect waste in a majority minority city like Washington, DC, and he claims to be fighting crime.
But when the real crime occurs, when real solutions are necessary, Donald Trump is not found.
Barack Obama led after Sandy Hook. Joe Biden led the nation after mass shots. Donald Trump has still not succeeded.
Even if he will appear at one point, and if his model is true, he will only focus on the shooter, will bring Melania Trump for his secure and not disclosed location, will visit Minneapolis and completely ignore the wider problem of mass fire and armed violence in this country.
Trump ordered that flags are lowered to half of the staff, which is more gestures instead of a real change.
America needs a leader who will face the mass shooting epidemic, not a president who treats crime as a reality show.
Not facing mass shots will prove again that Republicans are more interested in protecting the rights of mass shooters than children’s life.
