The Trump administration has accumulated losses lately, so they needed a victory. Something that distracts the country from Epstein files that are still not published and the job market.
The administration returned to his favorite tactics. Target the majority of minority cities with lies and the deployment of federal power and resources for the police.
Trump was talking about crime, then he started complaining about immigration, but he warmed up.
The president, during an event which was supposed to be on crime, attacked the mayor of Chicago, the governor of Illinois, the mayor of Los Angeles, the governor of Los Angeles, the former president Biden, and crowned everything saying that illegal things had been done in the 2020 elections.
During all this, the national media assembled, as well as the networks of new cables, broadcasting it live, sat on their hands and acted as if all this was normal.
It was not normal.
As a country, the majority of Americans must reject this. There should no longer be sanewashing, more media members acting as if it was as usual. More quotes or cherry picking writers acting their own interpretation or context to ensure that Trump seems normal.
Trump tries to make Gaslight the country to not see reality, and the media play with pleasure, but we are still a lot in the country that trust our own eyes and ears on the words of Donald Trump.
