Remember Trump’s absurd decree Where did he try to tell America that the identification of voters was now necessary for each election and that people were not allowed to vote that for a day, and he attacked early and sent by post?

A number of voting rights groups have met to continue and ensure that Trump’s executive order has no traction.

Legal Center campaign announced:

Today, Campaign Legal Center (CLC) and State Democracy Defenders Fund (SDDF) continued the executive office of the president and members of the president’s office (See here) On behalf of the LEUD Latin American Citizens (LULAC), Secure Families Initiative (SFI) and Arizona Students’ Association (ASA) – alleging that a recent decree far exceeds its powers and threatens the freedom to vote for millions of Americans.

Voting is a guaranteed freedom and protected by the Constitution. The president does not have the legal power to adopt new registration or voting requirements via an executive decree which restricts access to this freedom for American citizens. These changes are anti-violates at the base and point out that the president and his administration intend to change the way we organize elections by illegally favoring American citizens. Thanks to this decree, the president tries to act beyond his power and usurp the role of Congress and States to establish their own electoral laws.
