The Senate hearing was supposed to concern global threats to the United States, but the audience was on the domestic threat posed by Trump officials to national security after having disclosed military air strikes in Yemen to a journalist on an unsecured platform.

The officials of the administration testifying during the hearing were without excuse, and when Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) asked the Director of the CIA, Ratcliffe, if the violation was a big mistake, and Ratcliffe replied no, Ossoff had enough and said:

No, no. You hang on. The answer. No, no. I asked a question yes or no and now you will keep. A national political journalist was made aware. The White House to sensitive information on imminent military operations against a foreign terrorist organization is an error in adding a journalist.

And, and it was not a huge mistake to confuse. It was not a huge mistake. Well, I think that, they characterize embarrassment. It is quite unprofessional. There was no excuse. There was no recognition of the severity of this error. And by the way, we will obtain the complete transcription of this chain, and your testimony will be carefully measured against its content.

Ossoff video:

Trump administration officials seem to have lied during the hearing and they refuse to apologize or admit that everything went wrong. The reported cat was a national security risk because the Pentagon a week earlier had issued a security vulnerabilities in signal and said it should not be used. However, here are the best officials of the Trump administration all on a signal cat, giving military plans together to the journalist who did not know that it was in the cat.

This is something that should be a national scandal and should cost people their jobs. There was even a Member of the Trump administration in Russia on the reported cat.

It is a story that gets worse and people like Senator Ossoff are doing their part to hold responsible Trump officials.
