Many Americans have misunderstood the national belief that anyone can be president. This inspirational myth is meant to suggest that the United States is a land of opportunity for everyone. The sky is the limit. There is no ceiling to what can be achieved in America.
As the American people have discovered, equality of opportunity is not real and there are certainly limits to the vast majority and what they can achieve.

There was also the other meaning of the idea that anyone can be president. The idea that anyone can do the job of presidency.
Donald Trump has proven twice that not everyone can do this job, and the American people have noticed.
According to a new Fox News Poll:
More than 6 in 10 say Trump doesn’t care about people like them. The 37% who say he cares is down from a 2024 high of 44%.
55% say Trump lacks the mental toughness to serve. This represents an increase of 7 points since the end of 2024 and a peak near 56% in 2023. In comparison, 65% said former President Biden did not have the mental toughness to be president by the time he abandoned his re-election campaign in July 2024.
So far during his second administration, Donald Trump has fallen asleep several times during events in the Oval Office. Republicans are increasingly convinced that they are doomed in the midterm elections. Trump imposed tariffs that destroyed the U.S. economy and started a war in the Middle East that only added to the economic carnage.
Trump is in decline and cannot assume the presidency. Its decline worsens every day.
The media chooses to ignore it, even as Trump puts his decline in writing and documents it for the world to see.
