Sweaty and incoherent Trump can barely finish his speech in Egypt

Diplomats and Middle East experts have said for generations that there is only one path to achieving lasting peace for the Israeli and Palestinian people.

True lasting peace will only come with a two-state solution in which a Palestinian state is established and both sides recognize each other’s rights and agree to live in peace.

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has spent his entire political career opposing a two-state solution.

Viewed in this context, Trump’s performance in Egypt was little more than performative theater.

The current ceasefire and exchange of prisoners and hostages are good measures, but given the history of the region and this conflict in particular, the chances of the ceasefire being respected are not great.

If the United States had a president truly committed to peace and not to mental or physical decline, someone who had the energy and will to stand up to Netanyahu, peace might have a chance.

Instead, here’s what the world heard from Donald Trump:

Then there was the Biden administration, which is the worst administration in the history of our country, and obviously they did nothing on that or anything else. And so it stayed at four and now a lot of people, even today, are talking about joining them all.

So, so many people have talked to me about it, and it’s going to be a great tribute. Truly the United States. I mean, the United States has worked very hard in the Middle East, so it would be a tribute to us, to Jared and to Steve, and to all the people, Marco, everyone who worked so hard on this.

And that’s really going to bring, it’s going to make sure that everything stays together. You will get there, and you will get there well because the Four Nations are doing very well. I mean, they’re doing extremely well because they’re rich, but. They are much richer because of it. So I hope everyone joins us now. NOW. We have no excuses.
