There is something in the governor of Illinois JB Pritzker who really seems to intimidate Donald Trump.
Pritzker held a press conference with the political and civic leaders of Chicago where he announced that the state of Illinois was chasing Trump to prevent him from deploying the army in Chicago.
The governor said:
Their plan has always been to provoke chaos, then they can use this chaos to consolidate the power of Donald Trump. They think they can deceive us all by thinking that the way of getting out of this crisis they have created is to give them a free reign. This plan will only work if we leave it.
The state of Illinois will use each lever at our disposal to resist this power intake and obtain Noem, licks the hell of Chicago. I’m not afraid. I am not afraid and I will not back down. Now, before returning the podium, the court here gave to the US justice ministry for two days to respond in writing to the request of the State, and they must respond at midnight on Wednesday evening, and the next hearing will take place on Thursday.
