Since Donald Trump has returned to functions, the only common cry of democratic voters has been that they wanted to see more fight from their party leaders. With a presidential primary and no majority control in the congress, it is up to the highest democrats in the Chamber and the Senate, Senator Chuck Schumer and the representative Hakeem Jeffries, to set the tone.

While Schumer made key errors centered on the mentality of the Senate in business as usual and slow, the Democrats of the Chamber, by the need to present themselves to the re -election every two years, were more able to keep their ears on the ground.

When Trump reversed the course and did the client of the Ministry of Justice Bury Epstein and the files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, he sparked an earthquake that divided Trump’s base in a way that nothing else has in a decade.

The representative Jeffries feels an opportunity, because the story of Epstein is more for him than a criminal affair involving odious sexual crimes and powerful people. Trump’s reversal on Epstein is also a reflection of corruption surrounding this president, his administration and his party.

Jeffries sees a chance to Driving this message at home And will not let him go.

According to Axios:

Jeffries shocks some colleagues by kissing efforts to use Maga divisions on Epstein files.

Why this counts: in the midst of requests from the liberal base that the Democrats remove the gloves with Trump, the Democratic chief went from the walk not to “swing at each argument” to the adoption of a “more” strategy.

Zoom in: Jeffries reported to the allies that he considers the history of Epstein as being perfectly in a broader story on alleged corruption in the Trump administration, sources told us.

He is not going to abandon Epstein, “a Democrat in the senior room told us on condition of anonymity to speak frankly about internal discussions.

Hakeem Jeffries is right. Epstein’s reversal concerns Trump’s corruption, but he also emphasizes how Donald Trump has no value, and his North Star guide is always his own interest.

What the American people want does not matter. The needs of the members of the Congress are not relevant, and what the demand for Trump’s most loyal supporters is not a consideration in the mind of the president.

Maga division on Epstein files I will not be enough for himself to return the room, but the reason why the Republicans in the Congress become stronger with their criticism is that Trump’s decision could harm republican participation next year.

Trump’s broken Epstein promise is a demoralizing moment for a base that already showed signs of contentment and listening.

Hakeem Jeffries sees this moment and demonstrates that he will use each problem to regain the majority of the house.
