Americans can spend more on common barbecue items this July 4 with prices on products like beer, outdoor folding chairs and grill tools, according to a new Congress report.

The total cost of a typical grocery trip for a barbecue increased by an annualized rate of 12.7% since the announcement of President Donald Trump’s sweeping rate in April, according to the analysis of the democratic arm of the democratic minority of the joint economic committee. It has calculated pricing by using consumer price index data for the most popular food and drinks for a summer barbecue of 10 people.

The minority analysis revealed that a pack of six of domestic beer in the bottle of Miller Lite and Coors Light has increased by more than 13% each since the April rate announcement. The analysis also found price increases for key barbecue teams following the popular lists on Amazon Use of Keepa.com price verification websites and camelcamelcamel.com.

Since April 1, Amazon’s inscriptions for a Coleman foldable campsite have increased by 47.7% and a 25 -room plaque accessories kit increased by 17.7%, according to the report.

Other products have experienced more modest increases. A banana sunscreen increased by 8.1%, Reynolds wrapping aluminum foil increased by 6.9%, a Weber propane grill increased by 5%and a multi-pack of disposable plates and utensils increased by 3.3%, according to the report.

A separate report can arise from Rabobank, a World Food Bank and Agro-Industry, revealed that the cost of a barbecue of 10 people increased by 4.2% this year and will reach $ 100 for the first time. Its barbecue index has highlighted the higher prices of beef as a contributory factor.
