Donald Trump plans to accept a luxury jet of Qatar which he will use as Air Force One during his functions. The plane will become the private property of Trump and will be transferred to the foundation of the presidential library. To avoid taxes, the plane does not go in its library but will become the property of the foundation.

The emolument clause of the Constitution clearly indicates that what Trump plans to do is illegal: “No title of nobility will be granted by the United States: and no person occupying any post of profit or self-confidence, will be, without the consent of the Congress, to accept any present state, emolument, office or title, of any kind whatsoever, of any king, prince or foreign state.”
The Trump administration, led by AG Pam Bondi, has developed Mumbo-Jumbo to justify looking in the other direction than the President of the United States seems to take a bridge pot.
The consumer media fail to call such obvious corruption.
Here is what the New York Times published on X:
Breaking News: President Trump plans to accept a luxury boeing 747 from Qatar which he will use as Air Force One and will continue to use after leaving his duties. The plan raises substantial ethical problems.
We are ethical problems spent on it.
ABC News Has broken the story, and here is how they framed it: “The very unusual – unprecedented arrangement – is sure to raise questions to find out if it is legal for the Trump administration, and finally, the Presidential Library Foundation Trump, to accept such a precious gift of a foreign power.”
Exact and unprecedented terms are precise terms, but the lack that is lacking is corrupt. The media decision to decrease corruption using the term gift is a gigantic part of the problem.
This is not a gift. It is a clearly illegal bridge pot. This is not a gift. It's a bridge pot. Qatar does not give Trump a luxury jet because they think he is a great guy. They want something in return.
If the Democrats regain control of the House next year, they now have their first problem to investigate, and even if the dismissal is intended to go nowhere, there will be strong calls for an indictment investigation on a president who has accounts that take bribes, even if the biggest media in the United States are too afraid to say it.
