Nancy Pelosi is only one of the greatest speakers in history. She is also an expert on the functioning of the US government, and Pelosi did not retain anything when she proposed her reflections on the first 100 days of Donald Trump’s second term.
Pelosi said:
The first 100 days of the Trump administration were a wreckage of fear of fear, incompetence and broken promises. While not raising a finger to reduce costs for workers, President Trump recklessly pushes us to recession, to attack the social security benefits won, to dismiss American patriotic veterans, to reduce vital medical research and to make families pay more for less health care. The disastrous file of this administration let the American people feel the pain of failed policies – but as President Trump said, he “doesn’t care”.
100 days on the agenda of President Trump made American families more vulnerable and our nation less safe, even before the Republicans tried to postpone millions of people from Medicaid health coverage to give tax alternatives to their billionaire donors. Today, leader Hakeem Jeffries described our plan to continue to fight against chaos, cruelty and corruption of the Trump administration. While the Republicans choose to protect the rich and well connected, the Democrats of the Chamber are united behind the leader Jeffries in our commitment to fight against the families of workers with our plan for better America.
The description of Pelosi was one of the most brief characterizations of the damage that Trump has caused specifically and directly to the American people.
It is too general to say that Trump has hurt America. More specifically, Trump harmed the American people. Trump injured people on Social Security, government employees, people who live the pay check at the pay check, people with medical problems and too many others to list.
Trump has hurt all those who are not a rich white man like Donald Trump, and Train Wreck seems to be the appropriate description of what he is doing in the country.
