Many Republicans seemed to be convinced that if Donald Trump returned to the White House, all the strong female, non -white and Alid voices differently in the country were silent.
The reality is that, as Trump put his white hood disguised as an anti-dei, many of these voices have become stronger.
One of these voices belongs to the representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who was criticized by the Republicans to refer to the Governor of Texas Greg Abbott as “Governor Hot Wheels”.
The Republicans came after Crockett to “make fun of a disabled person”, but the deputy of Texas did not decide.
For the record, as a physical disabled person, I have not seen the insult in the joke of the Crockett representative. However, it is pleasant to see that the Republican Party cares about at least one disabled person while they derive them from their work, try to withdraw their health care, access to education and potentially their social security.
The Crockett representative responded to republican attacks by saying Semaor::
Crockett told Semaor that the criticism of her comes from Republicans who are “nervous about me” and “fear that people listen to me”. The Republicans now saying that she insulted disabled people, she added, are looking for a distraction while they move to close the education department, “which provides resources to the community”.
“They tried to pretend that I became rich in something harmful to the Congress. Then they continued to assert that I had a husband and that I got involved in something harmful with him,” she said. “Then, they went to be indignant that I obtained private education, to be crazy now that I have supported peaceful demonstrations, as I have had for years.”
Crockett is right. The Republicans fear it, and to judge by Trump’s approval rating, People listen.
Trump and the Republicans are unpopular and try to silence people like Jasmine Crockett cannot hide the fact that this president and his party are rejected in record time by the majority of the American people.
