MSNBC programming during prime time had difficulties. Even Rachel Maddow’s return to make a night show for a few months has completely restored his notes. Maddow has an average of 1.7 to 1.8 million viewers, which is much lower than 2 to 3 million viewers it has on average before the 2024 elections. A substantial drop in the drop in ratings is due At the corner of viewers on cable news and Trump’s presidency, but the bad figures meant that a reshuffle happened and that he arrived.

Joy Reid, who has been organizing programs since 2016 on the network, has been released.

The New York Times reported:

Joy Reid’s evening show on MSNBC is canceled, part of a large -scale programming revision orchestrated by Rebecca Kutler, the new president of the network, two people familiar with the changes said.

The latest episode of Ms. Reid’s 7 -hour show, “The Reidout”, is planned for a while this week, according to The People, who were not allowed to speak publicly. The program, which has in -depth interviews with politicians and other news, has been a must in the MSNBC range for five years.

Alex Wagner was also released, whose show has never made its way with the public and had the audience of The Last Word of Lawrence O’Donnell.

The Times reports that the probable replacement of Wagner is Jen Psaki.

It has always been the plan of the network to pass Psaki at 9 p.m. Psaki has been considered by many since its hiring as the possible replacement of Maddow at 9 p.m.

Rachel Maddow clearly indicated that she does not like to do the television show, and she does not like the daily newspaper of five nights a week in the cable news in prime time after having done it for more than one decade.

Part of the plan has always seemed to be for Rachel Maddow to eliminate his program and for a NOCTURNE Jen Paski program to replace him.

I am skeptical that any modification of the MSNBC programming makes a significant impact on the notes. Many Americans do not want to hear about Trump or his administration.

The cable audience has been decreasing for years due to the cord cut. Trump’s return was a boon for Fox News, but the overall public of cable news remains in decline.

Finishing Joy Reid’s show is an important reshuffle, but it was replaced by a night version of the weekend.

MSNBC tries to understand how to recover his audience. Joy Reid and Alex Wagner are the first two victims of what could be a series of major movements.
