Momentum for Kristi Noem’s impeachment has grown since ICE took down Renee Good. After the second murder of an American citizen in Minneapolis by DHS agents, Republicans are now breaking with Trump.

The tide has definitely turned against Noem.

House Democrats are building considerable momentum heading into the midterm elections and see an opportunity to do more than deny ICE funding.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Democratic Whip Katherine Clark and Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar said in a joint statement:

The Trump administration is using taxpayer dollars to kill American citizens, brutalize communities, and violently target law-abiding immigrant families. The country is disgusted by what the Department of Homeland Security has done.

Republicans plan to shut down much of the government on Friday so the DHS killing spree started in Minnesota can continue across America. It’s immoral.

Radical changes within the Department of Homeland Security are necessary. Federal agents who broke the law should be criminally prosecuted. Paramilitary tactics must stop and stop. Taxpayer money should be used to make life more affordable for ordinary Americans, not to kill them in cold blood.

The violence unleashed against the American people by the Department of Homeland Security must stop immediately. Kristi Noem should be fired immediately or we will begin impeachment proceedings in the House of Representatives.

Hakeem Jeffries went beyond the leadership statement and unleashed himself on Noem.
