Donald Trump is worrying behind the scenes that Democrats are taking back the House and turning him into a lame duck while unleashing a wave of investigations and measures aimed at limiting his power.
One reason Democrats nominated Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) to serve as ranking member of the Judiciary Committee is because he is uniquely qualified to address the challenges of the second Trump administration.
On Sunday, Raskin appeared on CNN’s State Of The Union, where he was asked how much the Trump administration was protecting Epstein survivors compared to Trump.

Rep. Raskin responded:
I would probably say zero and 100. They showed no deference or respect to the victims, to the survivors of this nightmare.
And it’s all about covering up things that, for whatever reason, Donald Trump doesn’t want to make public. Whether on himself, on other members of his family, on his friends, on Jeffrey Epstein, or simply on the cultural network of social business in which he has been involved for at least a decade, if not more. So do you think the actions the Justice Department is taking are specifically designed to protect Donald Trump?
What else? I mean, that’s their everything. Economic model. In effect, they are attempting to reorganize American constitutional jurisprudence and the rule of law around the idea that the entire executive branch is in the service of one man. This is the theory of the unitary executive according to which it is above all about serving what Donald Trump wants.
Yeah, I can’t imagine what other interests they have in mind.

What Raskin said about impeachment should deeply concern Trump and his party.
